Ungu

A deadly poison used by the nobles of Yusan to kill each other, Ungu effects come on very quickly, leading to death within minutes. Before that, the victim will suffer paralysis and agonizing pain, a sensation described as being like ‘a million tiny hands strangling every one of your muscles.’ Like many poisons, an immunity to Ungu can be built up by a long course of small doses, although even that often proves fatal to those who attempt it.

To prevent its detection, Ungu is sometimes mixed into cosmetics, especially lip paints – it is just as effective administered by a kiss as any other way, so long as the wearer of the lipstick is immune.
