Laoli

Laoli is derived from a charm plant that grows only on the island of Gaya. The pollen of the plant is merely a mild euphoric, but when distilled and fermented, it becomes Laoli, which is a painkiller of impressive strength and terrifying addictiveness. In small quantities, it is used by physicians and even common soldiers in the army of Lusan for its pain killing effects. But without careful supervision, its use can all too easily turn into addiction.

Only the strongest willed can wean themselves from Laoli addiction without assistance.

Origin: Five Broken Blades by Mai Corland.
