Formula 977

Elwood P. Dowd is one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet. Friendly, amiable and generous. Just remember to be nice about his imaginary friend, of you might learn that he’s not so imaginary. In fact, Harvey, who takes the form of an invisible, 6 ft 3 1⁄2 inch tall (1.92 m) white rabbit. Harvey is in fact a púca, a mischievous but mostly benign creature from Celtic mythology.

Unfortunately, not everyone is as accepting of Harvey as Elwood is, and Elwood was at one point committed to a sanatorium, where a Dr. Sanderson treated him with the mysterious Formula 977 in an attempt to ‘cure’ Elwood. Whatever was in it, Formula 977 proved no match for the wiles and powers of Harvey, and Elwood was eventually released, his bond with Harvey quite intact.
