Tantrum
An energy drink popular with college students in the early 2000s, Tantrum was sold in cans, and appears to have been almost entirely of caffeine.
Almost, because later lab tests discovered a dangerous extra ingredient, one which later lab tests determined could cause symptoms in mice it was administered to which included but were not limited to violently exploding.
Tantrum was removed from the market after these tests, although it was still possible to find it for sale on the black market as late as the second half of 2009.
