Purple Hypers

A garden variety illegal stimulant that comes in the form of, you guessed it, purple pills, Purple Hypers are a common enough drug on the streets of Polar City (or at least, the less nice streets) that no one’s really going to notice or care if some go missing from the police evidence lockers.

Purple Hypers grant increased energy, prolonging wakefulness, but do little for the symptoms of sleep deprivation – thus meaning that users are often irascible and may even become paranoid with sustained usage. There is some evidence to suggest that the drug may also have a mild psychedelic effect, as some users have reported improved intuition while under the effects.
